The Everest panorama trek, like many other treks in the Everest region, begins with a scenic flight to Lukla Airport (2,846 m/9,337 ft). From here, trekkers will follow the well-trodden path through dense forests and remote villages. The trail first descends towards the Dudh Koshi river before ascending through picturesque hills, forests, and mountains, providing breathtaking views along the way to the small village of Phakding (2,610 m/8,563 ft).

From Phakding, the trail continues via lush forests and a few settlements to Mojo village (2,835 m/9,301 ft), the starting point of Sagarmatha National Park. On the way, you will cross numerous suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi river. This vast conservation area in the Everest region is home to dense rhododendron forests and picturesque Sherpa villages such as Monjo, Jorsale (2,740 m/8,989 ft), and Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,290 ft).

Namche Bazaar, often referred to as the "Gateway to Everest," is a vibrant town that offers trekkers a chance to experience the rich Sherpa culture and lifestyle. The town is bustling with markets, cyber cafes, lodges, restaurants, and narrow streets that are a treat to explore.

Throughout the Everest view trekking, the warm hospitality of the Sherpa people is a big highlight that has captivated the hearts of many fellow adventurers. One can learn about their unique way of life, the challenges they face, and how they maintain a positive attitude despite the difficulties they encounter.

As you climb towards the Everest View Hotel, you will get to see an enchanting view of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Nuptse, looming up over the sky right before your eyes. The view of the tallest mountain on earth from the hotel is a surreal experience and is sure to leave an everlasting impression on anyone who visits.

After the hike to Hotel Everest View, return to Namche Bazaar to spend the night. The next day, you will follow the same trail back to Phakding village and trek along the Dudh Kosi river to Lukla, where the trek ends.

Extend your trek to Tengboche monastery or Everest base camp

If you want to extend your Everest view trek and explore more of the Everest region, you can consider adding a visit to the Tengboche monastery or even trekking to the Everest base camp.
