Langtang Region Trek

Langtang region trekking is the perfect trekking option for those trekkers who don't want to trek where there are too many trekkers trekking. Lantang region trekking is inside the Langtang National park which is the fourth national park in Nepal. It was established in 1976 aslo called the first Himalayan national park in Nepal. It is in the area of 1710 km in different districts like Rasuwa, Nuwakot and sindhupalchok, most importantly it includes the sacred lake called Gosainkunda (Frozen lake) and LangtangLirung (7229 mtr) is the higest mountain in this park.

This is the region where you not only enjoy the mountain and culture but also the greenery because one fourth of the park is covered with Oak, maple, rhododendron, chir pine, hemlock and spruce. It goes from subtropical forest to alpine which is the home to rare animals like Red panda, pika, muntiack, musk deer, Himalayan black beer, Himalayan thar, ghoral, Serwo, rhesus monkey and langur's, It is also the home to many different bird species too.
