Nepal is a landlocked country nestled in the Himalayas. The country is known for its breathtaking mountains, rich culture, and friendly people. For adventure enthusiasts, trekking in Nepal is a dream come true. Nepal offers a wide range of trekking routes that cater to both experienced and novice trekkers.

The most popular trekking regions in Nepal are the Everest region, Annapurna region, Langtang region, Manaslu region, Dolpo region, and Mustang region. Each region has its own unique culture, terrain, and trekking experience.

The Everest region is one of the most popular trekking destinations in Nepal. The trek to Everest Base Camp is a challenging trek that offers stunning views of the Himalayas. This trek usually takes around 14 to 16 days to complete and involves hiking through the beautiful Khumbu Valley, passing through Sherpa villages, and experiencing the local culture.

The Annapurna region is another popular trekking destination in Nepal. The Annapurna Circuit trek and ABC trek are classic treks that take around 11 to 21 days to complete. These treks offer a diverse range of landscapes, from lush green forests to high-altitude desert and stunning views of the Annapurna Range.

Likewise, the Langtang region is a less crowded trekking destination located close to Kathmandu but offers equally stunning views of the Himalayas. The Langtang Valley trek is a moderate trek that takes around 8 to 10 days to complete. The trek takes you through beautiful forests, glacial lakes, and stunning views of the Langtang Range.

Similarly, the Mustang region is a restricted area of Nepal. Trekkers need a special permit to trek in this area. The Mustang region is known for its unique culture, arid landscapes, and challenging trekking routes. The trek to Upper Mustang takes around 14 to 16 days to complete. In Mustang, you will explore ancient monasteries, sky caves, gorges, and canyons.

Trekking in Nepal is not just about the beautiful landscapes and stunning views but also about the friendly villagers and their rich culture. Trekking in Nepal allows you to experience the local culture, traditions, and mountain lifestyle.

The best time to go trekking in Nepal is during the dry seasons, which are from September to November and March to May. During these months, the weather is usually clear, and the visibility is good, offering stunning views of the Himalayas. The monsoon season, which runs from June to August, can make trekking difficult due to the heavy rain and slippery trails.

As of 2023 April 1st, solo trekking in Nepal is banned. So any foreign trekkers have to hire a guide and trek with a local company like us.
