Detail About Kusum Kangru Peak Climbing

Kusum Kanguru dominating the southern end of Charpati Himal separates the valley of the Dudh Koshi from the upper reaches of Hinku Drangka. This peak is a complex, triple summited mountain having at least five major ridges and faces. The north face of the main summit is the most spectacular one. The name Kusum Kanguru comes from Tibetan meaning : Three Snow Peaks.This peak is one of the most difficult trekking peaks to climb and was first ascended in the autumn of 1979 by a Japanese team.

Trip Itinerary

Days 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu; transfer to the Hotel
Days 02 : Sight seeing around Kathmandu valley
Days 03 : Fly to Lukla; Trek to Phakding
Days 04 : Trek to Namche Bazaar
Days 05 : Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar
Days 06 : Trek to Base camp; just before
Days 07 : Trek to Base camp
Days 08 – 15 : Climbing period
Days 16 – 17 : Trek back to Namche Bazaar
Days 18 : Trek to Lukla
Days 19 : Fly back to Kathmandu
Days 20 : Free day in Kathmandu
Days 21 : Departure on your own destination
