The trek in Tsum Valley is a 11 day journey through the rugged terrains so the trekkers are suggested to pack essentials and clothings accordingly. After the completion of the trek we will be returning back to Kathmandu where you can use the laundry service available in your hotel or use outside independent laundry service providers. Even though the laundry services are available in some tea houses the lack of time and efficiency creates a huge issue so we suggest you enjoy the laundry facility in Kathmandu.

  19. Money Exchange/ ATMs for Personal expenses and Emergency Fund
Make sure you have enough cash for personal expenses and emergency fund for your trip as the locals only accept Nepalese currency in the higher region so make sure to exchange in the money exchange or withdraw the local currency through ATMs. for personal expenses you must carry NPR equivalent to around 5-10 USD per day whereas for an emergency fund around 150-200 USD is sufficient. Personal expenses include Snacks, drinks, gratuities for guides and porters (not compulsory in NPR), and many more.

*Note: Make sure to check the exchange rate to get the best deal of the money exchange and ATMs charge an additional fee of 2-5% depending on the bank as international charges so make decisions accordingly.
