The trekkers will be accommodated for their entirety of the journey and to show their gratitude for the assistance and a comfortable journey they show their appreciation by providing their team with handsome tips. The amount of tips also depends upon the facility and satisfaction level of the service level offered by the team.

  11. Emergency Fund and Personal Expenses
During the Mohare Danda Trek the trekkers will be required to have a certain amount in cash for their personal and emergency funds. As in the himalayas the conditions can change drastically during which the trip might need to be extended during which the emergency funds will be used. The emergency funds can range from 100-150 USD equivalent in the local currency(NPR) and for the personal expenses of the clients which can include snacks, hot shower, etc around 10-15 USD per day will be sufficient for the trip.

  12. Insurance for the Mohare Danda Trek
The Mohare Danda is a short and comparatively safe trek whose routes are stable and filled with settlements across the trail however the trekkers should be insured to participate in the Mohare Danda Trek with the Mountain Ram Adventures as while trekking in the Himalayas any unforeseen events can occur which can lead us to change our itinerary or need medical assistance during which the insurance helps to cover the cost partially or fully. The risk of altitude during the Mohare Danda is not that high yet still there so, incase of emergency the cost of medical and emergency evacuation will also be covered by the insurance which also helps the team to make decisions with a cool head.

  13. Risks during the Mohare Danda Trek
Indigestion: During the Mohare Danda Trek the trekkers will be consuming meals prepared by the locals which will be nutritious filling up the trekkers for their journey. The trekkers are suggested to have balance and proper meals during the journey and not consume water without filtering it. Irregular meals can cause an upset stomach causing indigestion which can become a huge problem while trekking in the himalayas.

Altitude sickness:  During the Mohare Danda trek we will be trekking to a maximum altitude of 3300 M at which the risk of altitude sickness is not so much but not zero. The trekkers are suggested to trek according to their pace and not overdo it. The trekkers need to inform their team if they are not feeling good as they can assess the situation and request for emergency evacuation if need be. The guides will be carrying a first aid kit with basic medicines which can come in handy during any situations.

    Ways to prevent altitude Sickness:
    1. Consume proper and balance meals.
    2. Drink a sufficient amount of filtered water.
    3. Walk according to your own pace
    4. If having trouble share it with your team members.
    5. Do not over do it and listen to your body.
    6. Avoid the consumption of Alcohol, Cigarettes, Caffeine products as it causes dehydration.
