"Excellent English speaking tour/trekking company"
Mountain Ram Adventures was incredibly helpful to us since the minute we arrived in Kathmandu. Finding a solid company with English speaking staff was near impossible there (and I speak several Indian languages, but it was still very hard). Ram really knows what he\'s doing and how to get you the best deals. There were some things we booked before arriving in Kathmandu from New York City, but we soon discovered it would have been CHEAPER if we booked through Mountain Ram. Everything was well-planned and explained in depth. Can\'t wait to go back to Nepal!

"Fantastic experience"
I\'ve trekked in Nepal twice with Mountain Ram (once with him as my guide, once arranged by him), and have had a fantastic experience in both cases. Knowledgeable, friendly, and a natural instinct for being always there to help means you can put your mind at ease and simply concentrate on enjoying your adventure. I couldn\'t recommend him enough.

"Excellent Adventure with Mountain Ram"
I\'ve trekked and travelled with Mountain Ram on many great adventures and I have never been disappointed. He is truly a Nepali gentleman with a great sense of humour. His understanding of the western culture and mastery of the English language is by far more superior than any other in the Nepalese tourist industry. Our treks together have always been exciting and a great deal of fun, even under the worst circumstances. I have photos of us standing on Khumbu Glacier, knee-deep in snow, smiling under ice-crusted beards. He and I have been heard singing and laughing in the high Himalayas. It always brings strange looks from passerbyers. But above all the fun and camaraderie that we share, Ram\'s main principles are for the safety and security of his guests and the wellbeing of his guides and porters. His knowledge of the people, mountains and, especially, the affects of AMS (acute mountain sickness) have been learned through stringent education and years of experience. If this is going to be your first visit to Nepal or a return visit, I suggest you give him a call and leave all your worries with him. Namaste!
