Detail About Nagarkot Day Tour

Nagarkot is located about 30km east of Kathmandu and is considered one of the most scenic spots inBhaktapur district. It is renowned for its sunrise and sunset views of the Himalaya range, including Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world as well as Manaslu, Langtang, and Annapurna ranges. Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley.

Nagarkot is strategically located and was historically used as an ancient fort of the Kathmandu valley, monitoring external activities of other kingdoms in the Valley. Later on, it became a summer retreat for royals and their families before, only recently, becoming a hill station and a tourist destination.

"First Trek of our life... Great experience... Wish to do more now."
I, alongwith my husband, planned our first trekking trip with the help of Mountain Ram Adventures. We did the shortest trek, Sundarrijal-Chisapani-Nagarkot, which did seem quite long to us but in the end it was one of the most unique and memorable trips of our lives. We also spent 2 days in and around Kathmandu visiting various heritage spots and other places. We did not have to worry about anything during our stay in Nepal as Mountain Ram Adventures had meticulously planned each and every little thing of our trip and Ram was always available with a smile on his face to answer any questions that we had. The trekking guide provided to us (Kishwor Adhikari) was great too. Exteremely warm and helpful ! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, all thanks to Mountain Ram Adventures ! "Trustworthy and competent."
We went at the langtang himalayan range to Nargarkot. 3 days walk. It gave us a fantastik look into the Nepales mountain farmeres everyday life. A trip of comfort and not too exsorsting.
