  6. Best Time to Participate in the Nagarkot Day Tour:
The travelers participating in the Nagarkot Day Tour can participate during any season but traveling during Monsoon season (June to August) is not considered to be the best time due to constant rain. The travelers can plan their travel during the remaining months as usually the weather conditions are much more favorable.

Winter Season: The Winter Season is one of the best times to participate in the Nagarkot Day Tour for the travelers who are searching to travel in good weather conditions and avoid tourist crowds. The winter season in Nepal begins from the month of December and ends in February during which the temperature of the Kathmandu valley can reach up to 1-2 degrees celsius in the night time and is generally around 12-15 degrees during the day time. During the winter season it can get a bit chilly however the skies are clear providing the travelers to enjoy the magnificent sunset views of the Himalayas from Nagarkot. Overall the winter season is the best season to participate in the Day Tour if the travelers want to avoid tourist crowds and want to experience the best views of the Himalayas.

Spring Season: The months from March to May is the beautiful season of Spring in the Himalayas, during which the travel condition is pristine with clear blue skies. The travelers can expect popular destinations like the UNESCO Heritage Sites and trekking routes to be a bit crowded as the conditions are much more preferable. Even Though the destination may be crowded the travelers can still have a good overall experience. The Spring season;s weather is a bit unpredictable at times as during the month of March the weather condition is still a bit chilly from the dwindling Winter season and around the end of May the skies can be covered by gloomy clouds as the Monsoon Season begins shortly after the Spring Season. Overall a good time to participate in the Nagarkot Day Tour the travelers will have an unforgettable journey filled with enriching experience.

Summer/ Monsoon Season: The Summer/ Monsoon season is possibly the worst time to travel in Nepal due to the unfavorable conditions including constant rain. One of the main highlights of the Nagarkot tour is the amazing sunset view of the Himalayas which is not possible during the Summer season as the clouds completely block the views of the Himalayas. The  only positive aspect of traveling in Nepal during the Monsoon season is that the popular destinations will not be crowded and the cost of services might also be a tad bit lower than any other season. Overall the travelers will not have a good experience in Nepal during that time due to the unfavorable conditions due to which the Mountain Ram Team suggests the travelers to postpone their trip to another season avoiding the months from June to August if possible if the travelers want to experience the finest of Nepal's culture and Himalayan views.

Autumn Season: Arguably the best time to explore Nepal the months from September to November is also the busiest time in Nepal. The pleasant season of Autumn which spans from September to November is the most ideal season for tourists as the weather conditions are much more favorable with clear blue skies. The weather conditions during the Autumn season is also not too cold or not too hot with an average temperature ranging from 13-26 degrees celsius within the Kathmandu Valley. The destination within the valley may get extremely crowded and during the time the prices for services and amenities may also increase. The travelers will have an overall good experience if traveling during the Autumn season due to ideal weather conditions and beautiful views of the Himalayas.

  7. Trip Extension
The Nagarkot Day trip can be extended by an additional day during which the travelers will be staying in Nagarkot for the night and enjoying the Sunset view as well as the Sunrise view of the Himalayas from Nagarkot and after having breakfast the next day, travelers will be transferred back to their accommodation or office of the team marking the end of the Nagarkot Day Tour. "First Trek of our life... Great experience... Wish to do more now."
I, alongwith my husband, planned our first trekking trip with the help of Mountain Ram Adventures. We did the shortest trek, Sundarrijal-Chisapani-Nagarkot, which did seem quite long to us but in the end it was one of the most unique and memorable trips of our lives. We also spent 2 days in and around Kathmandu visiting various heritage spots and other places. We did not have to worry about anything during our stay in Nepal as Mountain Ram Adventures had meticulously planned each and every little thing of our trip and Ram was always available with a smile on his face to answer any questions that we had. The trekking guide provided to us (Kishwor Adhikari) was great too. Exteremely warm and helpful ! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, all thanks to Mountain Ram Adventures ! The experience exceeded our expectations. For anyone planning a trip to Nepal, please get in touch with Mountain Ram Adventures and be rest assured of receiving the best services at the best price ! Way to go Mountain Ram Adventures. We look forward to visiting Nepal again !
