"One of the best trips of our lives!!"
Our family was just discussing our wonderful trip to Nepal over the holidays. It\'s been just over a year since we returned from our trip and the memories are still so vibrant in our minds. I chose Nepal because of the excellent rates I found online from Kuwait to Kathmandu. However, I had a difficult time choosing the lodging and sites to see. So, I decided to book the hotel and hope to find some things to do once we arrived, giving us a better idea of what would be available as the online sites were either too extensive or to concise, neither giving us a clear picture on what to expect. Upon arrival in Nepal, after processing visa\'s and all, we stopped at a tour guide kiosk and this is where our adventure with Ram begins. We met with Ram the next morning and he graciously setup a tour around Nepal for us which included a driver (Bali"man"...a beautiful spirit that took great care of two women and two children under the age of 18) that drove us around and from Kathmandu (beautiful temples...Monkey Temple was interesting and the Hindu Temple was somber and very emotional) to Nagacort (one of the highest residential elevations in Nepal...BREATHTAKING but COOOOOLLLLDDDD), to Chitwan National Forest (enjoyed the elephant rides and canoeing with the alligators), to Lumini (Birthplace of Buddha) to a New Year\'s celebration in Pokhara (we paraglided and took plane rides that we could get a clear view of Mt Everest) and back to Kathmandu in 7 days. I can\'t imagine having to put a trip like this together on my own without knowledge of the country. We won\'t forget this trip and won\'t ever forget Ram!! WELL DONE RAM AND THANKS AGAIN!!!!!
